"Ukrainian Sisters" unites the world around support for solo mothers - crisis assistance, mental health, employment and a vibrant community for those raising children alone.
"Ukrainian Sisters" is a Ukrainian charitable organization founded in 2022 and registered in 2023. We grew from the first weeks of the full-scale invasion, when a volunteer team of solo mothers and military wives united to support each other.
The "peer-to-peer" principle is the foundation of all our programs. We know from personal experience what it means to raise children alone in conditions of constant uncertainty and danger.

For us, "solo mothers" are women who de jure or de facto independently raise and provide for their children - especially those in temporary crisis or difficult life circumstances.
